Pensnett Railway

Earl of Dudley's Pensnett railway - served collieries in the area of Kingswinford.

The Shutt End Railway eventually became part of a much larger system, which came to be known as the Pensnett Railway or the Earl of Dudley’s Railway. This system eventually stretched from Ashwood Basin in the West to Baggeridge Colliery in the North and Netherton in the East taking in the Round Oak Ironworks complex as well as innumerable pits.[1]
