1939 Residing at 81a New Broadway, Ealing, Managing Director of Public Company. With Hilda Perring Thoms (b. 1895) and Sydney E. Reynolds (b. 1892) Central Manager Radio Rentals.[1]

1964 Died. 'MR. PERCY PERRING-THOMS, founder, chairman and managing director of Radio Rentals Ltd., who began in 1929 in a small room in Brighton hiring out radio sets at 3s. a week, left £255,343 (£246,042 net) in his will published yesterday. Duty of £129.744 has been paid. Mr. Perring-Thorns. whose home was at Angmering-on-Sea, Sussex. died in July. aged 64. He was also a director of Baird T.V. Distributors, Ltd., Baird T.V. Sales Ltd., and Aerial Contractors Ltd.'[2]
