Distiller and Scotch whisky merchant of Glasgow

1802 This was claimed as the date of establishment by the company, though it is not clear on what basis.

1911 Incorporated as a private company, Peter Dawson Limited, with capital of £100,000.[1]

1924 The company went into voluntary liquidation with its assets being absorbed by the Distillers Co through its subsidiary Scottish Malt Distillers.

1925 A private company of the same name, distillers and brewers, was incorporated, with capital of £10,000.[2]

1980. Part of Distillers Co

2007 Peter Dawson Limited was dissolved.[3]
