PETER DONALDSON died on June 24, 1913, at the age of fifty-two.

He was a partner in the firm of James Watson & Co. of Glasgow.

He was educated first at Glasgow Academy and at Glasgow University, finally taking a course of study in Germany. About thirty-two years ago he joined the firm of James Watson & Co. He served as a member of the Committee of the Scotch Pig Iron Trade Association, and also acted for a time as a chairman of that body.

He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1895.
