1868 Patent 3672. To Peter Hooker, of Old-street-road, in the county of Middlesex, Engineer, for the invention of "improvements in brick-making machinery."[2]
1876 Patent 1297. And to Peter Hooker, of Saint Luke's, and Edward Wright, of Ball's Pond, both in the county of Middlesex, for the invention of "an improved attachment for pole chains or straps and traces."[3]
1881 Living at 242 Old Street, Saint Luke, London: Peter Hooker (age 64 born London), Printer's Engineer employing 10 men and 10 lads. With his wife Catherine Hooker (age 60 born London) and their five children; Henry Hooker (age 27 born London); Hannah Hooker (age 25 born London); Frederick Hooker (age 24 born London); Benjamin Hooker (age 23 born London); and C.S. Hooker (age 21 born London). One servant.[4]
