1959 Editor, Motor Transport and Bus and Coach since 1953. b: July 6, 1909. Educ: Dean Close School, Cheltenham. First associated with the industry as editorial assistant, Motor Transport, 1928; first editor, The Leyland Journal, 1935; served with R.A.S.C. in North Africa, Italy and Austria, 1939-45; commissioned 1942; rejoined Motor Transport and Bus and Coach in 1950 as assistant editor.
