Pickering

From Graces Guide

of Berwick on Tweed

1905 Pickering based in Berwick-on-Tweed were founded.

Pickering had one single-decker running in Penrith and a double-decker, however this vehicle was only exhibited.

The bus had a four-cylinder Pickering engine 35-40hp and a dual ignition system.

The engine drove through a metal to leather clutch and then via a telescopic link to a three speed gearbox.

Maybe some connection with Pickerings?
