Pinner Gas Co

From Graces Guide

c.1868 C. C. and W. T. Walker formed the Pinner Gas Company Ltd., a private company.

The works were built on Eastcote (formerly Bridle) Road, including horizontal retorts and a carburetted water gas plant.

1881 Became a statutory company.

1930 the Gas Light and Coke Co took over the Pinner company and closed the work the following year
