Between Poole and Hamworthy, Dorset

This entry refers to the 1927 bascule bridge carrying the A350 at the western end of Poole Quay. It is augmented by the Twin Sails Bridge, constructed between 2010 and 2012.

The 1927 twin-leaf bridge was constructed by the Cleveland Bridge and Engineering Co, replacing a bridge opened in 1885, which itself replaced a wooden bridge.
