1891 the bank merged with Dimsdale, Fowler, Barnard & Dimsdales of London, and with Miles, Cave, Baillie & Co of Bristol and with Tugwell, Brymer, Clutterbuck & Co of Bath to become a joint stock bank with limited liability – Prescott, Dimsdale, Cave, Tugwell & Co Ltd.
1891 The bank subsequently acquired George Moger & Son of Bath and Harwood & Co of Thornbury and Deane & Co of Winchester
1892 Acquired Bulpett & Hall of Winchester
1900 Acquired Thomas Butcher & Sons of Tring
1902 Acquired Sanders, Snow & Co of Exeter and Hilton, Rigden & Rigden of Faversham.
1903 The bank was renamed Prescott’s Bank Ltd.
1903 the bank amalgamated with Union of London and Smiths Bank Ltd.
