1898 New laundry about to be opened at Gateshead[1]

1899 Opening of the laundry at Starbeck (Harrogate)[2]

1899 New laundry to be erected at Whitley for the Provincial Laundries, Limited[3]

1913 Company meeting (presumably public company)[4]

1947 The MD, James Oliver, retired. Succeeded by A. E. Bailey the former general manager.[5]

1978 Michael Ashcroft acquired 29.9 percent of Provincial Laundries, later to become part of Hawley Group

1980 Acquired 20 percent of Pritchard Services, an industrial cleaning and contracting group.

1988 ADT sold its cleaning companies, presumably including Pritchard, to BET Initial
