1906 Company registered. 'The Purified Flock and Bedding Co Ltd., has just been registered is with a capital of £3,000 in £1 shares, to acquire (1) the Holcombe Mills, at Nailsworth, and (2) the business of flock, bedding and mattress Manufacturer carried on by T. H. Shum at Horsley Mills, also at Nailsworth, as Trevor H. Shum and Co., to adopt agreements (a) with T. Harris. J. F. Ford, and A. E. Hyde, and (b) with T. H. Shum, and to carry on the business of manufacturers of flocks, mattresses and bedding of all kinds, woolcombers, shoddy and worsted stuff manufacturers, weavers, bleachers, dyers, etc. The subscribers are:— A. E. Hyde, 266, Seven Sisters Road. N., outfitter: T. H. Thum, Nailsworth, bedding manufacturer; T. Harris. Grove Villas, Inchbrook, near Stroud, chemical works manager; J. F. Ford, 40. High Street, Highgate, N., outfitter; J. Walker, Dunkirk Mills, Nailsworth, hosiery manufacturer; B. P. Marmont, Winsoredge House, Nailsworth, director: G. J. Stickland, Brockley House, Nailsworth, Wiltshire bacon curer. No initial public issue. The number of directors is not to be leas than two nor more than five. The first are J. F. Ford, A. E. Hyde, T. Harris and T. H. Shum. The last named are managing directors.'[1]
