Pwll-y-Llygod Bridge

Pwll-y-Llygod Bridge is a single arch masonry (sandstone) bridge spanning the river Gwendraeth Fawr. Dating from c.1769, it is considered to be the oldest tramroad bridge in Wales, and one of the oldest in the World. It originally carried a tramroad from Carway Colliery to the terminus of Kymer's Canal. 3.3m wide, 24m long; arch 6.1m wide and 3m high.
