1922-6 The Surrey Commercial Docks were the location of the Port of London Authority's second new dock - Quebec Dock was built on a site previously occupied by three shallow timber floating ponds. It had 15 acres of water, with a depth of 27 feet, and four large timber storage sheds alongside.
