Robert Baker Elwin (c1826-1881)

Born at Brasfield, Suffolk, the son of the Rev Thomas Henry Elwin and his wife Eliza Eleanor Monk

1856 Married at Hanover to Emma Louisa Dorothea Augusta Neusil and had one daughter and one son.

1872 Agent and manager of the Madras Railway.[1]

His wife and children lived in Dusseldorf

1878 Retired from the Madras Railway after sixteen years. His successor is Arthur Morell Saunders. [2]

1881 February 07th. Died at Chelsea.
