TAKE this opportunity of expressing their thanks to the Bobbin and Carriage Manufacturers, and the Trade in general, for that very liberal support and decided preference they have hitherto received ; and, in soliciting their future commands, beg to assure them that nothing shall be wanting to promote their interests and secure their confidence.
R. C. and Co. beg to inform the Machine Builders they have now just set up A PLANING MACHINE AND LATHE, OF THE FIRST QUALITY, Made by Mr. J. Fox, of Derby, and which only need to be known to be approved. Rotary Machine Builders will find here everything to answer their purpose.
R. C. and Co. have recently established a BRASS and IRON FOUNDRY, and are prepared to execute orders for any description of Casting, and to any extent, on the shortest notice, and at such Prices as will enable them to compete with any House in the Trade.
R. C. and Co. have constantly on hand, a Stock of Register Stoves and Chimney Pieces. W. BELL (late of LONG ROW, Ironmonger) having, in conjunction with E. COWEN, purchased these intensive and old-established Works, which are now carrying on under the firm of "BELL and COWEN," they beg to apprise their Friends and the Public in general, that they are manufacturing, as heretofore, the following Articles, viz.:—
STEAM ENGINES and BOILERS, fitted up complete.
Wrought Iron PANS, suitable for Bleachers and Dyers.
Wrought Iron TANKS and GASOMETERS of every description.
Hydraulic and Screw PRESSES, upon the most approved principle.
Slide LATHES, of various sizes, upright DRILLS, Iron planing, Screw cutting, Iron rolling, Shafting and Pullies complete for MACHINERY, of the best kind, Steam Piping, &c. for Manufactories.
Also the manufacturing of the most improved COOKING APPARATUS, with and without Steam Closets.
Register and every description of STOVE GRATES, Bronzed and Black-leaded FENDERS, in great variety.
