1864 Alexander Stephen and Sons's Kelvinhaugh yard launched the Copernicus, an iron sailing-ship of 699 tons, for R. M. Sloman and Co, of Hamburg.

1896 The last ship built for the company by Stephens was the S.S. Pisa of 4,473 tons.
