1861 Living at Fonthill Villa, St. Leonards, Exeter: John Daw (age 58 born East Budleigh), Solicitor and Registrar of County Court and Widower. With his son Richard R. M. Daw (age 23 born Exeter) Attorney and Solicitor. Also his daughter.[1]

1885/86 Mayor of Exeter.[2]

1901 Living at Spurbarne, Magdelen Road, Exeter: R. R. M. Daw (age 63 born Exeter), Solicitor, J.P., Registrar of County Court. With his five daughters and his son visiting.[3]

1909 January 21st. Died, of 9 Regent's Park, Heavitree, Exeter.
