1939 R. S. Hudson and Co was an "allied company" of Van den Berghs and Jurgens Ltd, which had been marketing Spry which was made by Van den Berghs at Bromborough, who then took on the marketing as well[2]
1946 John Knight Ltd and R. S. Hudson Ltd agreed to form a new marketing company called Hudson and Knight to act as selling agents for the products of both companies to grocers and chemists[3].
