Rudolph Selz was educated at the Polytechuikum at Munich, and in 1920 qualified as Diplom-Inginieur.
He then joined Vauxhall as director and assistant manager, and was actively connected with the production of the Vauxhall car.
He then acted as consulting engineer up to the outbreak of the war, when he enlisted in the Middlesex Regiment.
At the end of the war he obtained a position as technical assistant with the Dunlop Rubber Co, until 1922. when he returned to Munich in the capacity of consulting engineer.
His death took place in 1925 at the age of forty-nine.
He was elected a Member of the Institution of Automobile Engineers in 1908.
