1997 Name changed to RK Timber Ltd; the Birkenhead subsidiary, Ellis and Powell, was transferred to Raab Karcher (UK)plc; other subsidiaries were:[2]

2011 RK Timber (North East) and RK Timber (Southern), subsidiaries of Saint-Gobain, were wound up voluntarily[3]
