1837 Advert: 'Eligible Investment. Dukinfield, .... Plot of valuable land situate in Dukinfield aforesaid ..... 3840 square yards of land together with the machine-shop, engine house, buildings, cottages, and conveniences lately erected thereon for their own occupations, by Messrs. Raines and Lavage [sic], boiler-makers, (now bankrupts) but not quite finished ...[2]
