1899 Description of works outing for 103 employees.[3]
1900 'A fatal accident sustained through being thrown from a horse at Rockhampton, Queensland, has closed the career of Mr. Henry Reason, Brighton, the early age of 37. Deceased, a well-known electrician, left for Australia two months to to make arrangements for the installation of the electric light at Brisbane.' [4]
1910 Allen West rented space from Reason Manufacturing Co Ltd at Brighton to start his company[5].
1911 Exhibited electric clocks, at the Physical Society's Exhibition[6]
1914 Allen West was invited by the principal shareholders of Reason Manufacturing Co Ltd to take over that company.
1922 Products included electrolytic meters, maximum demand indicators, house service fuse boxes, cut-outs, time switches.
1929 Subsidiary of Allen West and Co when it went public[7].
1951 Products: Electrolytic meters; maximum demand indicators; mercury switches.
