1941 Became a dispersal factory for Gloster Aircraft Co; both the prototype E28/39 jet aircraft were moved to Cheltenham for completion before one was moved back to Brockworth for the first trials.

1974 Company voluntarily wound up; James M Readings was chairman[1]
