Reid and Welsh

1901 The partnership of Reid and Welsh, in which James Reid and William Welsh were sole partners, was dissolved by the retiral of James Reid as at 30th September. The business was carried on by William Welsh under the same name as before.[1]

1906 Reid and Welsh Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £25,000, to take over the undertaking of Reid and Welsh, tweed manufacturers, Lossiebank Mills, Elgin.[2]
