'... the Partnership concerns and business heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Ebenezer Rhodes and Thomas Champion, and carried on at Sheffield, in the County of York, as Merchants and Manufacturers, or otherwise, under the respective firms of Champion, Rhodes, and Champions and Rhodes, Champion, and Son, were dissolved and ended on the 31st day of December 1822, by the effluxion of time...'[1]
