1816 August 13th. Born in Bull Street, Birmingham the son of Edward Bach, Haberdasher, and his wife Ann

1838 July 19th Married in Birmingham to Helen Malone

1861 Living in Heath Road, Harborne: Richard Bach (age 44 born Birmingham), Engineer Master. With his wife Ellen Bach (age 43 born Birmingham) and their seven children; Harriet Bach (age 20 born London); Thomas Bach (age 13 born Birmingham); Richard Bach (age 13 born Birmingham); Ellen Bach (age 11 born Lincoln); Maria Bach (age 8 born Birmingham); Emily Bach (age 6 born Birmingham); and Florence (age 4 born Harborne. Also his niece Jane Jullet (age 18 born London).[1]

1867 Emigrated to New Zealand via Sydney.

1877 January 5th. Died in Auckland, New Zealand.
