1879 Birth of son. 'ABBATT, wife of Mr. R. H., C.E., East Indian Railway, at Giridi, Bengal, Oct. 17.'[1]

1911 Living at 33 Mattock Lane, Ealing: Richard Henry Abbatt (age 68 born Stoke Newington), Civil Engineer (Retired). With his wife Laura Frances Abbatt (age 63 born Clare castle, Ireland) and their son Frank Warner Abbatt (age 28 born Isleworth), Civil Engineer - Out of Employment. Also his widowed sister Mary Richardson Syrett. One servant.[2]
