1842 May 07th. Born at Whittington, Derbyshire, the son of William Belfitt, a Butcher, and his wife Charlotte Kay.

1911 Living at 9 Lawson Road, Sheffield: Robert Belfitt (age 68 born Whittington, Derbyshire), Cutlery Manufacturer - Employer and Widower. With his two daughters.[1]

1930 June. Died, of 26 Lawson Drive, Sheffield, for many years the Chairman and MD of George Butler and Co.[2]
