Robert Hardie (Fellow) of Coventry, died on Apr 4 at the age of 64. He was chiefly associated with Daimler, where he spent 30 years, eventually becoming Chief Inspector. At the time of his death he held the position of Metrication Officer at Coventry Clirriax which he had served for the past 12 years. Mr Hardie was a prominent member of several societies and organisations and of the Coventry AD Centre, on which committee he served for 18 years, being Chairman from 1956-58.
