1987 Robert Watson and Co. (Constructional Engineers) Ltd and Robert Watson and Co. (Steelwork) Ltd were part of AMEC plc
1991 Renamed Watson Steel Ltd
2001 Severfield-Rowen acquired Watson Steel Structures of Bolton from AMEC.
