1897 The firm of Robertson, Ireland and Company, merchants and commission agents, 14 Victoria Chambers, Dundee, was dissolved as of 31st January. The business was to be carried on by Andrew Robertson, under the same name, as sole partner.[1]

1934 The firm, carrying on business as merchants and manufacturers at 2 William Street, was again dissolved on the retiral of Robert Nicoll Robertson, with the business carried on by the remaining partner, John Ferguson Ramsay.[2]

1948 Robertson, Ireland and Company Limited, 2 William Street, Dundee, general merchants and agents, and dealers in textile substances, was incorporated with capital of £25,000.[3]

2006 The company was struck off and dissolved.[4]
