Rohilkund (or Rohilkand) and Kumaon Railway

1885 For the construction of a single track on the metre gauge to connect the province of Kumaon with the railway system of India. From Katgodam at the foot of the Kumaon Hills, to Bareilly - 66 miles. A. M. Rendel and Henry Prince, Consulting Engineers; [1]

1899 Mileage - Lines owned is 55; Bareilly-Sitapur-Lucknow is 226 miles; Total mileage 281. A. M. Rendel, Consulting Engineer.[2]

1910 Worked are 429 miles of which 202 belong to the company and 237 to the state. Officers - Rendel and Robertson, Consulting Engineers; G. L. Edwards, Acting Agent and Chief Engineer (Bareilly); J. Rolston, Locomotive Superintendent and Storekeeper (Lucknow). C. W. Bruce (Mailani) and N. F. Addis (Bareilly) are resident engineers.[3]

1943 Merged with other companies as the Oudh and Tirhut Railway
