Roland Edmund Dangerfield (1897-1964) of the Temple Press.

1897 June 18th. Born at St. Giles, London the son of Edmund Dangerfield and his wife Alice Ada Upham.

Educated at Harrow.

1918 Appointed director of Temple Press

1933 Took over as MD when his father retired.

1964 Died. 'Roland Edmund Dangerfield, chairman of the Temple Press until his retirement In 1962, died at his home at Peaslake, near Dorking, Surrey, yesterday. He was 87.'[1]
