1902 Created in Paris, 'la compagnie française du Néostyl' produced stencil printers also called roneo or roneograph.
1907 As it started to produce office furniture, the company changed name to Roneo. The company also introduced modern organisation methods ('simplify work is saving energy').
1908 Public company.
1930 British Neopost Ltd, which marketed a postal franking machine, was acquired by Roneo and renamed Roneo-Neopost.
1947 Listed Exhibitor. Manufacturers of Office Equipment. (Olympia Ground Floor, Stand No. B.1462) [1]
1961 Manufacturers of office equipment, including duplicating, stamping and cancelling machines, filing and indexing cabinets. [2]
1966 Roneo was acquired by Vickers Ltd
1980 In June, Vickers sold the business of its International Machines Division to Roneo Alcatel, a newly incorporated subsidiary of CIT Alcatel of France. At that time the business included reprographics as well as mailroom equipment.
1990 Roneo integrated Samas Group.
