1864 Smiths and Mackay had been founders at Rose Street Foundry, when their assets were sequestrated for sale[1]

1895 Won the contract for the replacement of the "Black Bridge" in Inverness

1909 The Rose Street Foundry and Engineering Company changed its Memorandum of Association[2]

1922 Acquired A-I Manufacturing Co; started manufacturing the A-I electric butt, spot and seam resistance welding machines, also electric heating machines at its Inverness Works.[3]

1926 The foundry company was still in business in Inverness [4]
