Ross-shire Electric Supply Co., of Tulloch Street, Dingwall,

1926 Incorporated as a public company to acquire the undertaking of the Strathpeffer and Dingwall Electric Co., Ltd (in liquidation).[1]

1929 Scottish Power Co has arranged to take a substantial interest in the Ross-shire Electric Supply Company Limited. Rapid progress Is also being made with the hydro-electric works at Rannoch.[2]

By 1932 had been acquired by the Scottish Power Co
