1968 Rotork Engineering Co was introduced to the London Stock Exchange and the company name was changed to Rotork Controls Ltd.

1970 Opened a manufacturing plant in Maryland, to supply American oil companies and the American nuclear power industry

1972 The quoted company was renamed Rotork; Rotork Controls was a subsidiary of Rotork when it acquired the Cybac Actuator division of Lucas[1]
