1986 Rowecord Engineering Services Ltd incorporated

1987 Acquired Braithwaite Engineers, specialists in fluid storage systems. Already owned Unifloc makers of mechanical handling equipment used in coal preparation; another subsidiary was Rowecord Engineering Services[1]

1989 Acquired Metal Protections (Gwent) Ltd and Corrugated Steel Pipes Ltd.

By 1990 other subsidiaries were BFH Welding Plant Ltd, engaged in plant hire, and Metal Protections (Gwent) Ltd and Corrugated Steel Pipes Ltd.

1993 Transferred to Rowecord Holdings including the subsidiaries.
