1955 Name changed to Tallent Plating Ltd

1961 Name changed to Tallent Engineering Ltd of High Wycombe

By 1974 was at Newton Aycliffe, manufacturers and dealers in domestic appliances.

1980s Tallent Engineering introduced robots.

1988 was part of the Charles Colston Group; was also supplying parts for suspension systems to Ford[1]

1989 MBO of Tallent Engineering, of Darlington, the only operating subsidiary of Charles Colston[2]

Tallent Engineering became a member of the ThyssenKrupp Automotive Group, continued to make components for many of the major names in the automobile industry

2012 Tallent Automotive Limited was acquired by Gestamp, the Spanish multi-national engineering group.
