1832 The most powerful steam vessel of her day; built by John Duffus and Co of Aberdeen to the order of Captain Bourne, later becoming a celebrated as a pioneer vessel of the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Co. Boilers soon replaced by others designed by Francis Humphrys[1]
