Ruston-Lister Marine Co

1931 R. A. Lister and Co formed a joint venture with Ruston and Hornsby called Ruston-Lister Marine Co, established to focus on the maritime market. It was considered that there was scope to increase Britain's share of the marine engine market. The registered offices of the company were to be at Imperial House, Kingsway, London and the aim was to enter the market with marine engines for all purposes, including motorboats, yachts, fishing smacks, trawlers, lifeboats, pinnaces, pilot boats, and various types of mercantile vessels.[1]
1934 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[2]
