1922 Lieut.Commander, R.N.V.R., M.I.E.E., Electrical Engineer, Electricity Works, Nuneaton. T. A.:" Gibson, Electricity Works, Nuneaton." T. N.: 65. b. 1874. Ed. at private school and subsequently at Glasgow and W. Scotland Technical College. Served articles with Piercy and Co., General Engineers, Birmingham. One year's Marine experience with the P. and O. Steam Navigation Co.; 2i years in the Engineering Department of the Post Office; 2 years with the Wimbledon Corporation Electricity Department; 18 years as Chief Engineer to the Nuneaton Corporation. Chief Works: Has been responsible for design and management of electricity works. Acted as Consulting Engineer since commencement; also acted as Consulting Engineer to local Collieries and Works. At present carrying out schemes for extensions at an estimated cost of £40,000. War Services.—In the Navy: 2 years in command of H.M. Wireless Station at Seychelles; 2 years attached to H.M.S. " Vernon" for special electric light and power duties; rank of Lieut.-Commander, R.N.V.R.
