1939 A.R.C.S. (Ireland), A.M.Inst.C.E. Engaged in Private Work. Address: 2 Elm Road, Beckenham, Kent. Age: 66. Career: Carried out Blackrock and Kingstown Main Drainage, 1894 97; Res. Engr., Belfast Waterworks, 1897-1900; held various appointments in Admiralty service between 1900 and 1932, becoming Superintending Civil Engr., now retired from that service. Papers: "Plane Strain in a Wedge, with Application to Masonry Dams," "The Direct Determination of Stress," etc., etc., to Royal Soc., Math. Congress, Toronto, World's Engg. Congress, etc.
