Samuel Stanley Hawkes (c1891-1921) of the Devonshire Regiment

1912 A brushmaker of 1 College Avenue, Mount Radford, who lost a finger after poison entered a cut while working.[1][2]

1916 April 16th. Discharged from Army as disabled.

1921 July 26th. Died. Memorial at Higher Cemetery, Exeter. Age 30 of St. Thomas.[3]
