1968 Died. 'Mr. Stanton Wilding Cole, first president, in 1934, of the Radio Industries Club of the Midlands, died yesterday at his home. Arnesby House. West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, aged 88. Mr. Cole, founder and chairman of L. W. Cole (Distributors) Ltd., radio and electrical wholesalers, of Old Crow Street, Birmingham, was also chairman in 1934 of the Radio Manufacturers Association. He was educated at King's College, Canterbury. He received the OBE during the 1914-18 war for his work in munitions. '[3]
