1924 "On Monday morning last the Minnetonka, the latest liner to the added to the fleet of the Atlantic Transport Line, Ltd, London, arrived in King George V. Dock on the Thames. She was built by Harland and Wolff at Belfast and her importance is enhanced by the fact that from all appearances she will prove to be the largest British ship completed and put into service during 1924.
