Opened 20 March 1913. Note: Transbordador “Nicolás Avellaneda” opened 30 May 1914; General Justo Jose de Urquiza Transporter Bridge opened 2 March 1915.[1]

DISMANTLED IN 1968.

It was one of three transporter bridges in Buenos Aires.

Apparently identical to the General Justo Jose de Urquiza Transporter Bridge. Constructed by Gutehoffnungshütte (GHH)? One source credits GHH with constructing the first transporter bridge over the Rio Riachuelo in Buenos Aires[2]
