Samuel Allwood

From Graces Guide

1782 Samuel Allwood (Nottingham) wrote to Matthew Boulton (Soho) on 13 May 1782, applying for a post doing turning and millwright work. He had worked for Matthew Boulton previously as an apprentice. Could provide references from several gentlemen in Nottingham.[1]

Was this the same Samuel Allwood who was recorded as a 'Mekanikus' (mechanic) established in Denmark in 1792?[2]
