1851 Living at Upper Horn Lane, Hackney: Saml Berger (age 74 born Shadwell), Manufacturer. With his wife Elizth Berger (age 66 born Cambridge). One visitor. Three servants.[1]

1855 May 17th. Died and buried on the 25th in Hackney.

In his estate he is a colour Manufacturer and valued at £160,000.[2]

    • Note: Jean Berger (1681-1709) possibly an ancestor. Born in England and arrived in Canada c1701-04 as an English soldier from France. 1706 He married Rachel Storer. 1729 He was jailed and banned from Canada, but his family settled in Ontario.[3]
